I won't even try to describe what's wrong this time. Suffice it to say that my next computer ordain be a Mac. I will also set up Linux on it. Gates can have his stupid business from someone else. XP= expunge your personal data. Thank God I have everything backed up on an exteral HD. I also had another fleeting rub with perfection. I had the perfect shot of a scene from the HbH. It was beautiful transcendent and meanigful even surreal. It was my one chance at making it an art gallery but alas it was like the priest who shoots 5 under par in a thunderstorm - the picture is lost forever along with the windows memory problem. Bill Gates is responsible. I ordain never again by one of his products. Hear that Bill?So. I went to assign the jobs that are due today onto a CD Rom so I could act them here to this nice little print shop with Internet kiosks to upload. The CD burner would not work. I ended up putting the work onto a SD card hoping that I could upload with that. I brought along a card reader so I could use a USB port - if they had one of those as a last resort. They undergo both so I am golden again. It is just losing that piucture that bugs me. Things like that just inform us that we are just stupid little humans on this planet. There is some choose of Greek Tragedy or maybe a comedy in all of this. I am sure you don't care - but I am sure you can relate. BTW. I can not get used to typing apostrophies on this computer so I undergo to mix up contractions with whole words. This Kiosk is only a short block away. Across is the tip with an ATM and the Bakery is across the street. So it is not really all that bad. It will cost me a few bucks to go here and work but I can do most of the bring home the bacon on Bill's little conjoin of registry nightmare - at least type and save.
